The 2008 27th Annual National Resource Center for Paraprofessionals Conference will be held on April 16th-19th in Hartford, Connecticut at the Hartford Hilton Hotel. 2008 conference
I was reading on the computer and found this conferenc for para professionals. I know you had a deadline but do you still happen to have two openings for para's from Colorado? What is the cost and airfare or is their a package deal for both? Let me know. Sounds very exciting.

We are just beginning to advertise this conference. Our Call for Papers and Registration information has just been posted so there is definitely room for two paraeducators from Colorado. The registration cost for paraeducators if done before March, is $50.00. Room rates at the Hartford Hilton are $129 for a single or double room.
Airfare is something to explore on your own. There are a number of airlines that fly into Hartford. I would look at some of your discount ticket companies such as Orbitz, Cheap Tickets, or Kayak for your best prices. We will be posting additional information shortly.

Thanks for letting us know about this 2008 conference. We need to present a proposal to our principal in order to attend this conference. As soon as you have any information on this conference we would appreciate the news so we can get our proposal to her. We also saw about the great New England sites to see. Is this done along with the conference or is their times before or after the conference that one can site see while visiting Conneticut? Thanks, Deb

We will likely have some events in the evening that provide an opportunity to see some of the sites, but most of the sightseeing would be on your own before or after the conference.

Hi. I just read about the 2008 Conference and I am so excited. I have been a Para for 14 years and I have always wanted to go to the annual conference but it has always been too far away. Since I live in Connecticut(about 30 minutes away from Hartford) I will definately be at the 2008 conference. Thank you for bring the conference to CT. If there is anyway I can help please let me know.
need some info
Hello, I attended this conference in Hartford april 2008. One of the sessions I attended was put on by a team called CSI-Utah. Taya Johnson and many others. I was wondering if anyone could give me a contact number, or email so that I can get some information on their program. There wasn't handouts. I walked away with such inspiration and would like more information. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me some names and contact info. Thank-you Kindly. I am a para professional.
