Paraeducator Survey

NCLB Draft

As you're probably aware, the Elementary and Secondardy Education Act/No Child Left Behind is in the process of being reauthorized. The staff discussion draft of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act reauthorization bill was released August 27. This draft was developed through input received at nearly two dozen Congressional hearings and many discussions with education organizations and concerned citizens and is considered a "work in progress". Initial comments were due September 5th but a growing number of organizations are requesting that more time be taken for the reauthorization process to address key concerns with the current draft. Take time to familiarize yourself with the current draft and check back for updates.
