I am a new para within the Ga school system and I must say I love my job although I had a misconception about my pay scale I was lead to believe I was on a contractural salary but I'm a temp that gets paid by the hour.If anyone knows of any schools that are currently looking for a dependable,harworker please let me know.
Georgia Paraprofessional Pay Schedule
I've worked as a para in the McIntosh County School System for about nine years and is not sure about what I should be making. I feel it should be a heck of a lot more than what I'm getting because the scale has not moved much since the day I started. I 'm certified as a paraprofessional and also have and associate degree. I'm seriously thinking about changing jobs; however, I have a few loose ends to tie up, but if anyone know of any schools in southeast georgia that's looking for a dedicated person, who wants to make a change for the better in each child she encounters life, then please let me know.
