They offer a 5 week course one night per week for 4 hours per class. 6:00pm - 10:00pm. They will also consider life experience and work experience to use toward credit for your degree. :o Preparing Teachers Submitted by mnewman on February 28, 2006 - 3:08pm I was a parapro at my son's school & then found out Northern Arizona University has over 30 statewide campuses tailoring to teachers, or mid-career professionals interested in pursuing a career in teaching. Both undergraduate and graduate degrees in the East Valley (evenings) leading to certification. Check it out at www.distance.nau.edu or 602/776-4675. They make the experience pleasant!
