Staff Development Units

Recently we were told that we will have to have X number of Staff Development Units just like certified teachers. Is anybody else doing this and what kind of"training"is availible from your school and district for Paras? 8) 8) 8) thanks for the input

No my state nor district is doing any training for paraeducators as of yet. They are lagging behind why I don't know. I would like any information that you have on traing any where.

we have been told that we have to have 10 SDUS. 1 SDU is 10 hours. We have 5 years to get them. Our school board is doing nothing to help us get them. We have asked if they can get us up some workshops but they just keep putting us off. :cry:
