Wanted to publicly commend you on the outstanding website. Just got off the telephone with someone from Midwest University who is writing a grant and found the website "informative, very comprehensive, containing information that he had not realized was available in any one location". He thanked us (NRCP) for our efforts and will share the information with his Dean! Congratulations Christopher on a job well done. :lol:

In our county, paraprofessional jobs consists of; in school-suspension, time-out,detention, kindergarten aide, cafeteria duty, maybe playground duty, sometimes filling in when a teacher is running late, or a substitute is running late, call home when students are absent from school, answering phone, mainly whatever your supervisor may ask you to do.
I'm interested in attending the paraprofessional conference in May, 2007. I'm not sure how to go about this, I've never attend a conference before. I have been a paraprofessional, 10 years in 2007. I would like to bring more staff development training, back from the conference.
