how do I find a satisfying job?

Hello! I have an A.A.S. degree in special education to be a paraeducator, but I don't know how to go about getting a good job as a paraeducator. I have looked in nearby schools, but all I can find is teacher aide positions for 3-6 hours and only $8.75/hour, or teacher positions requiring someone with a B.A. Right now I am working as a therapeutic support staff (TSS) and would like to find a job that requires less traveling, few cancellations, and possibly better pay with benefits. I didn't continue in my education because I was unsure if I wanted to become a teacher and originally wanted to become an educational interpreter. I would like to get some experience in a classroom if I am to continue to pursue a special education career. (see how I like it and what direction I want to go in) Does anyone know how to find a job as a pareducator not just an aide, or do you have any additional advice?
