Great FREE instructional websites for Paras!

Paraeducators are often charged with finding exciting and innovative instructional approaches to capture the attention and motivation of students and with the desire to tap into many different learning styles and interests, I thought this feature by eSchool News on "Ten great sites with free teacher resources" at http://www.eschoolnews.com/2011/02/18/ten-great-sources-of-free-teacher-resources/ might be a great addition to any paraeducator's "bag of tricks!"  I especially like the Academic EArth site that shares video lectures from some notable universities and professors and the PBS Teachers webpage.  Also, notable (although not included in their list) is Technology Education and Design (TED) at http://www.ted.com/ which also features incredible "mini lecture" by experts in diverse topics/fields.  Hope you enjoy!
