Great Question Katherine! When you click on someones profile, it doesn't show you there actually email address, but it does show you a graphic that looks like: When you click on that image it will take you to a form that you can fill out and the system will automatically send an email to that person's inbox from your email. Why not just show the email address? The major reason is security, we don't want people coming and gathering emails to use in mailing lists or other reasons. This way they can still email you (as long as they are logged in) but can't copy your email address for later use unless you give it to them. If you would like to have your email show up on all of your posts, then log-in, click on profile and add it to the Signature field- whatever is in there will show up on all of your emails.
