Annual Conference

Hello Everyone!

I am so excited I have a really good chance of attending the annual conference for the first time. I was hoping those who have attended could let me know what to expect. I am coming from Washington State. Are there events I should attend? Things that people might be doing out side of the scheduled events?

If you are attending I would love to start chatting with you and get some connections before I get there. The only person I really know is my brother who lives in Ogden. I will be staying with him while I am in Utah.

Thank you!

National Conference

I have attended a lot of these conferences, all I can say is that I keep gong back,
you'll find a commonality in Paraeducators all over the United States. I love being able to talk to paras all over the U.S. and finding the similiarities and differences in our districts. We all have the same problems, questions and challenges, no matter where you are from. I work in Kansas City, KS and have been a para since 1981. Please ask me any questions you want, and I'll be glad to stay in contact with you between now and the conference and let's get together there. Is there anyone else from your district going with you?

Can't wait to hear from you.

HI Linda!

Thank you for responding. I know what you mean about keep attending. I have been very active at the state level over the past 2 years and it keeps growing. I am the only one coming from the district and I will be bringing back the information. That is kind of why I wanted to make connections before.

I look forward to learning from and meeting so many more new people. If by any chance you have facebook or myspace I would love to be able to chat through that too. I post a lot of my association and political things on Facebook.
